1. Place a sheet of Hectograph carbon paper (ink side up) onto a flat work-surface and place a sheet of plain or tracing paper on top. 2. Place your drawing / design on top and firmly trace over the outlines & required detail using a sharp HB pencil . 3. Remove the Hectograph paper and your stencil will be on the piece of plain or tracing paper … trim off any excess paper. 4. Make sure the area of skin has been cleaned and shaved prior to applying stencil. (we use Isopropyl Alcohol Wipes as they kill all bacteria and remove any grease.) 5. Apply a small amount of stencil fluid or neat Dettol to the skin area to be tattooed, avoid getting it too wet. 6. Apply the stencil (ink side down) to the skin and apply firm pressure taking care not to smudge the design. 7. Remove the stencil and allow to dry completely. 8. Using a clean spatula apply a thin coat of vaseline / petroleum jelly, this helps protect the stencil whilst tattooing and wipeing away excess ink.
